We suggest you use the route planner and enter your departure point as somewhere nearby in Ayrshire that you know or can easily find with your own maps (e.g. Prestwick Airport). Enter our address as the destination (43 Beach Road, Troon - please do NOT include the postcode). Zooming in on this map gives a clear indication of our location.

Note that satellite navigation systems and computer-based maps which use a postcode to identify a location will, for our postcode, show us as being in Hillhouse Road. In fact, we face the sea on the corner of Beach Road and Hillhouse Road. ("Fordell" is the first house on Beach Road after Hillhouse Road which turns inland towards Barassie railway station and Barassie Golf Club.) Many online maps and route planners do not show clearly that Beach Road continues along the seafront.

Private parking for guests' cars is available on the tarmac area immediately in front of "Fordell".
